If you have a completed FCFCOA Balance Sheet for your matter, you have the option of importing the balance sheet when you are filling in the initial pop-up wizard. This will put the information from your balance sheet into your Questionnaire. This will help you to fill in the Questionnaire more easily.
During the pop-up wizard, you will be asked if you would like to import your FCFCOA Balance Sheet. Click 'Yes'.

1. Values
Identify which column in your FCFCOA Balance Sheet you want to import the values from. This is usually the same as your court role. E.g. In the example below, I am acting for Harry Grange and he is the applicant in the matter.

Choose 'Applicant' or 'Respondent', whichever is applicable to you.

2. Ownership
Enter how the ownership is identified in the FCFCOA Balance Sheet. E.g In the example below, the parties are identified by their names. Other titles may be used in your balance sheet, such as 'H' and 'W', 'Husband' and 'Wife' etc.

Enter the values under 'This party' and 'The other party'.

Select your balance sheet by clicking "Choose file". Navigate to where the balance sheet is stored on your computer/device. Once the information from the balance sheet appears, check the values in the 'Owner" column.

3. Property Type
Identify the property type for each item imported from the balance sheet. This is an important step as this will place each item in the correct place when you are filling in the Questionnaire.

4. Import
When you have finished reviewing the Type, Owner and Value columns, click 'Import'.

Click on 'Let's Start!'. This will take you to the Questionnaire. Instructions on how to fill in the Questionnaire can be found here.
