Fiona Kirkman

CEO and Legal Co-Founder

Fiona Kirkman is the CEO & Co-Founder of FamilyProperty. Fiona is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, mediator, FDRP and Collaborative Coach and runs her own family mediation practice, Kirkman Family Law, which is focused on resolution without court.

 

Fiona understands the challenges family lawyers and mediators face, particularly time and cost pressures and believes that FamilyProperty greatly assists family law professionals focus on outcomes not admin.

CTO and technical Co-Founder

As Technical Founder, Tim is the innovator, architect and designer of FamilyProperty and leads its ongoing development and direction.

Tim has qualifications as a Bachelor of Creative Arts and New Media and a Masters in Computer Studies. He has 20 years experience successfully building, managing and delivering software products across many industries.

He is passionate about empowering law firms to reach their potential through use of technology, by providing innovative products that supplement and complement legal practices.

Therese Aroyan

Product Owner & Accredited Specialist in Family Law

Therese began her foray into the legal technology space in 2019 as a subject matter expert and Product Owner at Legal Aid NSW. Prior to this, Therese primarily worked in the family law space, as a Deputy Associate in the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia (as it was then known), and representing adults and children across New South Wales in the family and care and protection jurisdictions.

Therese is passionate about the use of technology to empower lawyers to work more efficiently and focus more on engaging with, and advocating for their clients.

Therese is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting/Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, and a Masters of Applied Family Law from The College of Law.

Tara Haddock

Head of Client Success 

Tara has extensive knowledge of FamilyProperty, having facilitated hundreds of mediations using the software, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience to help integrate FamilyProperty into professional practice. Tara understands the challenges that implementing new technology and processes can bring, using her role to empower family law professionals to work smarter not harder.

 

Tara holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution and is a Nationally Accredited Meditator. Tara continues to use FamilyProperty in her private mediation practice. In her spare time enjoys going on adventures with her two cavoodle puppies.

Samantha Eades

Client Success Manager & Trainer

Sam has been with Tim and Fiona from the start and was involved in the development of FamilyProperty, working on a myriad of things including product testing, communication & promotion. 

 

With a background in corporate sales and account management at Qantas, Sam's primary role in the FamilyProperty Team is now around client relations such as helping clients with enquiries, training, demos and product updates.

Client Success Manager & Trainer

Anna is a family law solicitor with 12 years’ experience in private practice. She understands the pain points many family law solicitors face on a day to day basis including time consuming tasks, administrative processes and data repetition. She is passionate about automating processes and documents to leave family law professionals with more time to utilise their skills and expertise to advise clients, negotiate a settlement and ultimately close that file.

 

Anna holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Bachelor of Criminology, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Skills and Ethics from Griffith University.

 

In her spare time, Anna is a keen reader of anything from fiction to biographies.

Karoline Godoy

Marketing Executive

Before joining the FamilyProperty team, Karoline worked in marketing at The College of Law Australia, and as a Customer Success Manager at LinkedIn Sydney. She is curious about learning more about what makes people tick, and the important role that psychology plays in marketing. 


Karoline spends her days looking for ways to empower family law professionals to work smarter, and her nights studying Psychological Science at Swinburne University, reading, practicing yoga, and indulging her love for Scandi-noir crime dramas.

Business Development Manager

Kanishka is a qualified lawyer who is passionate about family law and using technology to contribute to a new age of forward thinking in family law.

Kanishka made the leap to Sales, driven by her personal experience in legal practice to help new practitioners become more confident in streamlining family law processes.

Kanishka holds a Juris Doctor from Macquarie University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law, and in her downtime, enjoys spending time with her dog and working up a sweat at Muay Thai kickboxing.

Client Experience & Support Representative

Susie has always been passionate about helping people, and using technology to make people’s lives easier. When she found a client support role at a technology company in 2016 that allowed her to marry both of her passions, she never looked back. Susie is the cheerful person that you’ll speak to at FamilyProperty if you ever get stuck or need help using the platform.

 

When she is away from her desk, Susie loves a bit of shameless karaoke, and loves using technology to make life a little easier.

Even Zhi is FamilyProperty’s Software Engineer, who harbours a passion for programming, having earned his Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of New South Wales. His mission is to help people achieve their goals more efficiently and easily with FamilyProperty. Besides all things tech-related, Even is interested in fishing and nature, and is also a cat-lover.
