We like to give you flexible options on how to engage with your clients and have listened to feedback that, in the first instance, some of our subscribers would like to send the client only a few sections of the questionnaire. Then once they have come on board as your client, you will add more sections later.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Choose the relevant option below as to how the matter will begin:
A. I want to create the matter first and then invite my client to access the questionnaire
Click on the 'Create a matter +' button
B. I'm using the questionnaire link on my website or in a general email
You may have set-up your questionnaire link to include only the basic sections of the questionnaire. To read more about setting up your questionnaire link, click here
Once a client has accessed this link and progressed past the first section, their matter will appear in the matter list (of the person specified when setting up the shareable link)
Step 2: Once the client has submitted the first part of the questionnaire, click on the '...' icon and go into the matter 'Set-up'.
Step 3: Tick the additional sections you wish to add, being sure to include the 'Client portal' if you would like them to start uploading documents. Scroll down and click on 'Want to reset access to the questionnaire?' Note: This will not clear information previously entered.
Step 4: Your changes will be saved and access to the questionnaire will be reset. You can now notify your client to continue working on the questionnaire. You will be provided with the client's unique matter link, however clients previously invited via an email invitation, can simply log back into FamilyProperty using their email & password. However, you will need to send this unique matter link to clients that started the questionnaire using the shareable link.
